X103.9 supports Sick Puppies!!! Request!!!

This Southern California radio station had supported Sick Puppies for quite a while now.
They were the headliners for their Xmas party in December 07.
I was there!!! Great show!!! People got peppersprayed for fighting.
It was quite an experience!
They're a bit smaller (non-corporate) than KROQ, but still reach the masses!


SO...
I won tickets to see 3 Doors Down a couple months ago.
It came with a catalog of their Albums.
I finally went to get the CDs.
I had just printed out a bunch of flyers.
I met one of the managers there (stupid me, forgot his name).
He said they really didn't have anywhere for a poster,
but let me leave a bunch of flyers.
He seemed really excited about my enthusiasm for the band.
We chatted for a bit. He took a pic of me leaving the flyers...
and gave me a DUAL CD, saying "spread the love! We've played 3 singles off it already!"

.....they also had that Sick Puppies acoustic show at some coffee place in Riverside back in Fall 2007. But unfortunately it was a win tickets only show so I didn't get to go, I cried for hours that day haha =*(

But they interviewed the Pups on air and had them play a couple of acoustic songs for the people who didn't get to go, I wish my mp3 player with FM would've still worked then to record it.

I'll start requesting like a madman although since the station is very small/independent their signal doesn't reach that far =/

But really, if we have such a great station,
who's playin SP a lot,
all the more reason to keep requesting them.
More and more exposure is what we are aiming for.
The more requests they get for this single,
the more they are gonna want to play the next single.
