I just can't place what it is! Not saying they stole of course. I just wanted to see if anyone else thought the same and possibly knows what song I'm thinking of.

It doesn't remind me of a specific song, but the style reminds me a lot of Silverchair. I've fooled a couple people with saying it was Silverchair and they believed it. Naturally I told them it was Sick Puppies afterwords

To me it sounds like its built as a 1, 4, 5 song. That makes it sound like pretty much every other song.

I found it! It's called Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson!
