I am definitely going to this one!
Even though I live in NC, I have friends in Alabama (right near Mobile in Bay Minette).
I honestly can't wait!
I think that SP is going to have some new fans because of the stage they are on. People are going to want to get a good spot for Shinedown (who are just way more well known) and they will end up falling in love with this band. . .
My family was going to go down there for Bay Fest anyways, but I wasn't really that excited until it was announced Sick Puppies were going to be there!

It is going to be a great opportunity for them to shine. Saturday nights on that stage at Bayfest are huge. Usually wall to wall pepole for two full blocks.It may be one of the largest crowds they have ever played to so they will be winning over a large block of new fans that have only heard the couple songs on the radio. I've only gotten two responses from people that I have asked if the have seen the Pups live. Either a nonchalant no,never have and oh my God they are amazing. So much like a game of ice hockey, the key is getting them through the door to the arena. Once they are there,they are hooked for life.

This should be an awesome show, HAVE FUN EVERYONE!! 
My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.

That was an amazing show! The band really rocked out and had some fun!
I was so happy when Shim announced before Say My Name that you could meet them after the set. I got a set of guitar picks signed and I got to talk to them!
I have never ever been to a show where one of the major bands would do something like that. Usually it is just the smaller acts who you have never heard of who do things like that.

i can only imagine, but i think the festivals or "throw and go" as the bands call them are a great way to get people introduced to new band
