First off, Donna, you made my year. When they played that last night it made my life. I was hoping since before i got my tickets that they would play say my name. It was my first Sick Puppies concert but no way in hell will it be my last. I didn't think it was possible but their performance last night made me fall even farther in love with them. Last night's concert was also my cousin's first concert. She had a blast. Her and I have been nothing but smiles all today. We were not expecting hugs from Shim :] I just wanted to thank Shim, Emma, and Mark for a fan-f*cking-tastic night.

This really has nothing to do with anything, but since we were talking about Tunnels to Holland at the show yesterday I figured it would be a good place to post this. Our friends are opening up at the Chameleon Club next month.

There was this guy and his friend next to me, being total jerks: shoving, saying rather shady and derogatory things to me and my friend. Sick Puppies comes on and these guys want nothing to do with them until they figure out Emma's a girl. They proceed to be jerks during the show.

I'm watching her fingers and trying to learn some stuff, singing along, having a great time- she notices and tosses me a pick at the end of their set. The guys rip it out of my hand. She had started to walk away, comes back, and gives me another pick. I went back while they were doing autographs to thank her.

This is why I love this band, never had an experience like that.

I don't really understand why people pay $30- sometimes $50- to mosh. It doesn't really make sense to me. I work through them to get in front, but I'm not paying $30 for that. I really wish venues still had separate places, like they used to. They used to have designated mosh pits. For some reason after 2007 I stopped encountering them.

I had confronted these guys about their harassment in the beginning of the show, they were there for Janus. I think that's what made them so mad at us. Oh well!

And I agree, the drive home was such a great time! Honestly, I haven't been able to sleep since Thursday- I've been too excited!
