I'm really really really gonna try to make it to this one. I'm hitting up my mom, brother, and sister as an early Christmas present from the 3 of them. I'm glad I'm back in school, but it makes hitting concerts really difficult because I don't have my own income.

The tickets are $18.50 from the House of Blues website. I'm not sure about the restaurant part... I hope its not required.

It's not required that you eat in their restaurant, but if you do you can get in earlier than everyone else. They have this thing called "pass the line" where if you either eat in the restaurant or buy a certain amount of stuff in their store they give you a voucher where you get in earlier than everyone else. Like I said, though, it's not a required thing. You just need a regular ticket to get into the concert.

Yep, I did it at every HOB show I have been to as well. Though 2/3 times it didn't help me anyway.... In Orlando the security people are nazi's and everything in my purse was wrong and I had to go back to the car.. twice..

That's good to know. I always get to the venue really early so I'm at or near the front of the line anyways. I don't mind standing near the speakers so toward the side on the front row is fine with me.

I would recommend the "pass the line" then if you like being in the front. At all 3 HOB shows I was at the "Pass the Line" line was longer than the regular line (when they first opened the doors) and the pit was at least 3-4 people deep by the time they started letting the regular line in.

Why is it that two awesome shows I wanna see are posted up on the 7th after I tell my brother I'd be in Austin for his Christmas concert on the 7th? I'm going to miss Sick Puppies or Shinedown. This really bites but it's his first Christmas concert teaching at his new school... I love my family and he better be aware of that!
