This will be the first of my 3 shows in 5 days mini SP tour, and I was just at Amos' to see a band called Blanco Diablo (check them out, they rock!!!) a couple weekends back. It's a great venue with awesome sound and a lot of space for the show...this will definitely be a good one too!

Hey those of you attending this show... We need some help covering the show. If you would like to help out the band and earn some extra points, let us know! You don't even have to be an Ambassador! All that is required of you is to hang up posters and help with newsletter signup sheets, etc. (Plus you get to feel special cuz you'll be up with the band and the merch booth and such... just an extra perk
) So let any of the uppers know if you would be interested at all! Hope to hear from you soon!!!

I would Love to but unfortunately I go back to school this thursday so that concert was my last hoorah of the summer. Its kinda funny actually, before looking on the Amos website for concerts i hadnt really heard of Sick Puppies so it was shot in the dark that most definitely paid off. I do know that if they ever come to NC(or whatever state my life takes me to) I will DEFINITELY go.

The concert on Aug. 15 @ Amos' was my third Sick Puppies concert. I first discovered the Sick Puppies when they opened up for Jet at Amos' a couple years ago. Needless, to say I fell in love with them and their music, so much that I actually got a tattoo last year that says It's All The Same. The concert was awesome, as usual. And Shim was extremely nice! I think it's great that they come out after the show and interact with their fans, most bands don't do that. I will also be attending the concert they have in October in Charlotte at the Uptown Amphitheater! Can't wait till October!!!!

Aaah yeah man, that was an amazing show! I thought that they were going to be the last band of the night, so by the time Hurt came on, I had spent all my energy on jumping & screaming for SP
.
I'm so glad that they come to smaller venues, so that they can come meet fans, sign stuff and take pictures! The only bummer was that the bass (on everything) was turned up waaay high, so it was sort of hard to hear Shim's amazing guitar
.
How many people (from SPWC) were there? I was the girl with fishnets, blue/black/white checkered tall boots, and designs on my face, but I was really close to the stage, so I was kinda hidden.

Yeah, I thought they were gonna be the last band, too. We didn't even stay to see Hurt because I was tired from jumping around and screaming, too. I was close to the stage, too. I have shorter red hair and I was wearing like a hippie looking tanktop. I think I saw you waiting in line for an autograph. Are you going to the show in October, too?

Hmm...I may have seen you, but I'm almost blind without my glasses D:
If who you saw was holding a guitar body in her hand, that'd be me
. It felt like I was holding something contraband, I kept waiting for the security staff to confiscate it or something!
I'm thinking about going to the October show, but i'm not a big Shinedown fan...How much are tickets? I might go if it's not too expensive.

Yeah, I def. saw you because I remember you holding a guitar. I'm not a shinedown fan either, I'll probably leave after Sick Puppies plays. Tickets are like $32 each plus all the fees and taxes. Hope to see you there!

Haha, cool!
.
I'm definitely thinking about getting tickets, and skipping out after Sick Puppies is done (atleast until the end of the show), but $32 is a lot to pay, if I don't stay for both major bands...If I still have money left after the Chevelle concert, i'll probably end up going =D

Yeah, it is alot to pay. I'm not so sure about the place either. It's at the Uptown Amphitheater and I've never been there. I wish they would just come to Amos' again, I love that place! Well, hope ya have fun at the Chevelle concert!
