I'm going to the Dallas show tonight, if any ambassadors need an extra hand let me know. I'd be more then happy to help out and meet you guys. (FYI: I posted the merch table from last night's show in the OKC thread)

Dallas has special meaning to me and my wife. It was at the Nokia Theater where we first saw/fell in love with SP when they were touring with Evanescence. We again later saw them at the House of Blues with Saving Abel and Dropping Daylight.

I can honestly say I have never seen Shim, Emma, and Mark not give their all during a show. I don't know how they do it. They have a HUGE passion for what they do, and are very humble people. Tonight was extra special because of Mark's Birthday and the band let loose more then I have seen in the past. They played in the big room at HoB and the floor was packed which made the "bounce off" great.

To celebrate Mark's birthday the band/crew sprayed (more like covered) him with silly string, and popped a couple bottles of champagne. Hurt then joined them on stage for a toast. After the autograph/pic session the SPWC members presented Mark with his gifts.

Ok now for the kicker (you might want to sit down for this). As I mentioned in my previous post a new shirt was going to be available in Dallas and we all know and love the "Emma Rocks" shirt.....now Mark has his own shirt! They created a special shirt in Mark's honor entitled "I Want To Bang Like Mark". I'm not sure how long the shirt will be available or how many were made. A special version was made just for the band with one of Shim's official introduction of Mark printed on the bottom.

Great show. It was the 6th time I've seen them live and I don't think it could ever get old. Their energy and passion is amazing. It being Mark's bday made it just that much more special. The lead singer from Hurt had Mark sign one of the corks and I was the lucky one to get it. A nice piece to add to the collection. I think I got some decent photos, I will share when I get them posted.
