My girlfriend and I are going to take a couple of days off work and make a small vacation out of it, so I'll be there. WOOT.

I really wish they would just advertise the price as what you actually have to pay. I just bought my two tickets and it cost $41. That's still pretty cheap, but the service charges and everything else were almost as much as buying a third ticket. Ticketmaster just told me to bend over...

I know! It is so offensive how much they are charging!

Anybody know any nice hotels to stay at in Columbia? There seem to be a lot of them, but I don't know anybody that has actually stayed in a hotel there lately.

Ouch, that's one heck of a drive for that late at night. You should try to say you have a doctors appointment in the morning or something

Then you could just get up early and drive straight from Columbia to work.

Yea, if their is one advantage to being in school for the last 16 years of my life (with 4 more to go

), it's that I can still take time off in the summer from my job (40 hours a week but not "technically" full time).

I just got the incredibly redundant e-mail from Ticketmaster telling me that my tickets have been printed. If this is the type of work that the ridiculous service charge is funding, then I feel even worse than before about how much I spent. E-mail me with a tracking number once they are shipped. Beyond that, I don't need to know that my tickets just came out of some guys laserjet.
Now that I've vented, I just wanted to ask what time people are planning on showing up to do sign ups and other stuff. I know it's a little early, but I like to plan ahead.
30 days and counting

I feel so alone on this thread...
Anyways, I just sent an e-mail to Tommy, 105.7 The Points Content Director, requesting that the Sick Puppies' Columbia show be added to the Concert Calendar. Springfield has its own big radio stations, but unless you live in the immediate area of Columbia or are really looking for it, you wouldn't know about the show. Hopefully I'll hear back soon, and, if not, I will call and leave voicemails (they're harder to ignore). I would love to see this show be a sellout, despite the fact that no students will actually be in Columbia.

Once I see if I can round up a babysitter, you won't be so alone in this thread.
