First off i have to say it's very cool that Sick Puppies are playing Great Lakes. I used to take my family there every 4th of July, when the kids were younger, Its a great time. They stopped doing this after 9/11 because of security problems. But in 2008 they started it back up. It has always been open to the public, I'm trying to confirm this but I'm pretty sure it still is. This festival has always been about opening the base so the public can check it out. I live 15 min. from it and its a great place to celebrate the 4th. I will let everyone know when I can corfirm that its still open to everyone.

I forgot to metion it was always FREE. I'm sorry If the first post is a mess. I got real exited about this. It is a great place for the family they have food beer and a carnival. Now this is all assuming that it's the same as before. And yes I know about assuming. I will confirm this.

As Becky has said I've confimed the Sick Puppies on July 3rd I talked to Chrissy at Great Lakes And they will be on stage from 7:30 to 9:00 with the laser show after. Absolutly going to this show. It's mainly for familys but its a great time. Best of all should be a full set. Can't wait.

This will be a great free show, can't wait. So much better than the Nickelback show. You can play a nice set list in the amount of time for this show, it will be a ten times better experience.

Im taking my nephews to their first show, and this will b it.

HI, all ~ had the pleasure of seeing my 2nd SP show last night at the Great Lakes Naval Base in North Chicago. First LONG show, and it was great! The acoustic part with the stools worked, no worries. Just wanted to say thanks for all you do to bring happiness to the rest of us. Love the music, love the vibe...anticipating total world domination soon.

I've seen the Sick Puppies 5 times now since May 21st 2009(thats my favorite show for personal reasons). I have to say though this was by far the best show I've seen. They played at a whole new level. It was awesome. In the middle of the show they did a 2 song acoustic set. The whole band was spot on. They always put a great show on, but this was unbelievable. The Puppies had so much energy and they looked like they were having fun. And Shim was himself, getting the crowd going. So I have alot of video and I'm going to post them in the Media section and you can see for yourself. Please check them out. And I missed you again Nicole. Kept going back to the merch tent and you were always gone. One of these shows.

This. Was. Awesome! During Janus my friend and I worked our way up to the barrier so for Sick Puppies he, my mom, my sister, and I were literally 5 feet away from Emma. ♥ I got amazing pictures, too! Shirt signed and my friend got to shake Shim's hand and talk to him because his birthday was the next day, lucky kid. -.-
