Nikki and Nicole - I'm assuming you guys got your tickets already, right? Did you guys go through Ticketmaster? I've been waiting because I get paid tomorrow... Ticketmaster says their still available, which is good, and I think I want to do will call. I would rather just get tickets at the venue and screw the stupid "convenience charge" but then I would risk driving all the way there and them being sold out... So what are you guys doing/what would you recommend?

Oh, and are you guys staying overnight?

no idea because i live like an hour and a half from nikki and I am taking the train up there so it is like 2 hours so i have to basically find the earliest train then it is a 3 hour drive. so we are still working out all the details, but i do you have a cell phone if so do you text if so let me know and i will PM you my #

I am going to be leaving for Nikki's in a couple hours so I dont have to do the train ride tomarrow and We can be there as early as we possibly can be.

yay!! im so stoked! but i am kind of having a little money issue. i have some checks that equal up to $60 and thats what i was going to use at the show but my work schedule conflicts with the bank hours and i havent been able to get them cashed. or even deposited. maybe ill just go to the currency exchange.... i dont know we'll see

Yay! My first concert as an Ambassador! I was up until 1:30am working on a FREE HUGS sign, which was gorgeous by the way...until I had it sitting in my passenger seat diagonally not realizing that the paint was still wet and dripping down the sign. So I will have to do some touch-ups and post a picture. I wasn't feeling well due to lack of sleep and the heat so it took me a little while to get there with all the restroom stops and stuff so 5 hours later I was there - at the same time as Nikki and Nicole. There were some complications with getting the tickets but we got it all worked out. Sick Puppies rocked the show, although I was kinda disappointed at the length of their set list... Only 4 songs - Cancer, Pitiful, Say My Name, and Nothing Really Matters. But I realize that at such a large festival with so many other bands, there are time constraints, especially for the opening bands. During the set I got kicked in the head by a crowd-surfer, so at the signing I made them all give me a hug to make it better. Hehe. We started getting email sign-ups and handing out stickers and it was all a lot of fun. We ended up leaving before "The band that shall not be named" even though we all wanted to see Emma play with them, but if we had, we wouldn't have gotten home until 2am at the earliest... And we were already exhausted as it was, lol.

So we met up with Jerry and he offered to walk us to our cars. We circled the parking lot a couple times because we kinda forgot where we parked... Lol. We had quite some interesting conversation and he is really a cool guy! He wanted to know about the goings-on of the forum and we told him to join... But he claimed that he couldn't because he knew "it costs 30 hundred dollars." So we told him we were going to make a Jerry thread, and then he would be obligated to join and check his thread, lol. I guess we'll see, haha.

We parted and I just got home! Needless to say, after 3 hours of sleep and 10 hours of driving, I am totally, completely ready to crash...

Sounds like a fun (though exhausting and possibly painful ) day that you guys had! Great pictures Crystal - the one of Gerry is cute - he looks like he is in deep thought !! Too funny about the 30 hundred dollars - since he handles all the merch we can give him a discount
