I just had a few things to say, and not even sure which thread I should be putting this in, but anyway, here goes:
First off, I'm alot more comfortable now sharing things of my personal life, I was much more private before. I think all the love I see from this forum has helped with that and I am so proud to be a part of it. Actually right now, without this and my friends and family, I would be lost. Sorry if I bore some of you..lol, but I just feel like getting some things off my chest and sharing.
I have been in the past absent from here, due to many personal problems. But I try my hardest to stay on board because its one place that makes me happy, at peace, and so proud to be a part of. Sharing my love for the Pups, as you all do.
Some people I know think its silly and don't get it, but I don't even care to get them to understand.
My spouse and I just recently seperated, after being together for five years and sharing a 3 year old son together. Plus I have an 8 year old daughter. For now, we thought it best to seperate because sometimes it gets so rough that no matter how hard you try, you just can't make it better again. I'm never one that gives up too easily though, so what the future holds, we will have to wait and see. Maybe we could put this family back together someday, ofcourse that would be my hope because family and sticking together is very important to me. But if not, I'm sure we will all be ok whichever way it turns out.
Anyway, to get off the sharing of that topic and say what I really came to say here, is the Pups and the lyrics to their music and the love they have for their fans has helped me through my hard times like you wouldn't believe.
The lyrics of how much it resembles my own life in so many ways, and the words of strength and courage aswell, gives me so much hope. I am stronger than I give myself credit for and I have hope for a much brighter future. I finally feel somewhat, that dark cloud lifting.
I don't know, maybe this is why it was meant for me to find this place.
Sometimes I just drive in my truck, and listen to Sick Puppies over and over again, listening deeply to the words, and honestly, it has made me stronger. Has given me more insight on my life.
So, this is the biggest reason why I love this band so much. There is no other like them, and they have no idea how much they have helped me.
Thank you so much to all my fellow peeps on this board. Its such a wonderful place to be a part of and helps me get through each day and the biggest THANK YOU ever to the Pups. Guys, you have no idea how much love I have for you and how much you're music has helped me through some very hard times, and gives me so much hope for the future! Big
