Okay, i've been browsing the board quite a bit. So i think for a first post this would probably be a good place to start, a little about myself now. My name is Sarah, I am 16 years old, and I am a proud Canadian. I found out about the Sick Puppies through Evanescence( obviously), and i am very damn happy I did. I know that the sick puppies rock, and CAN'T wait for them to come to Canada. Favourite song from them--> argh i can't choose, i love them all, but My World and All the Same are what got me hooked. I am a very shy person at first, but will change once i get to know you people better. I am a beginner at guitar, and is still learning. I love to read, draw, make people laugh, skateboard(tho i'm not that great), and play sports, if you want to know anything else just ask. Oh yeah did i mention I LOVE SICK PUPPIES-- hah i think i did. :biggrin:

Hi Sarah - It's great to have you here ! It is hard to choose a fave song from Sick Puppies - although I can say that "I Hate You" is probably my favorite from Tri-Polar. It's awesome to hear that you are learning to play guitar . I love to read as well , just wish I had more time to enjoy all the books I want to read! If you ever want to share some of your drawings with us I'd love to see them. I have always wanted to be able to draw but it isn't one of my talents - but I love seeing other people's art !

We have a great group of people on the forum so if you ever have any questions don't hesitate to ask :biggrin:

Welcome to the forum! I'm currently in college for a music major, so if you ever want to talk music theory or anything feel free to drop me a message. Don't worry, I'm not that smart, so you won't embarrass yourself anymore than I will. You'll find though that alot of people here play guitar. (I know atleast me, Anthony and TOOL do)

I'm a little shy too, if it makes you feel any better, but everyone here makes it too hard to not feel welcome! I hope you have fun.

Thanks, you all are very welcoming. "I Hate You" is an awesome song, infact i'm listening to that song right now. Yea i've wanted to play piano first, but my parents got me a guitar instead, i can't really complain since i also want to learn it. I'm self teaching it to myself by the way. I'll think about sharing my drawings too, Donna drawing is everyones talent to me. You don't have to be good at it, as long as you can produce something on paper, then thats all you need as a start. Just keep practising :smile:

I'll keep that in mind Siberianknight, if i need any help, i'll know who to ask. :smile:

Haha, I'm learning piano. I would SO rather teach myself because I'm failing it and it's part of my degree. You can just call me Siberian, if that's easier. I don't really mind it being shortened. Or Justin. Whatever.

i tried to teach myself, but it didn't end so well. I got semi-far and hit massive road blocks. But really, self teaching IS for some people. I don't care what everyone says If so many people who learned from playing The Beatles or Nirvana are wrong, I'd rather not be right.

As for a favorite song from SP... Thats hard for me to chose because they are all my favorite! But I must say off of the new album I really love "I hate you", "Riptide", and "Maybe" :biggrin:
