Strangest way you've ever seen a name spelled

Unread postby siberianknight » 16 Oct 2009 00:04

Another random incarnation of lack of desire to do school work and lack of sleep.

Say the strangest name or strangest spelling for a name you've ever seen.

My best friend has a sort of strange spelling of her name that always makes her mad when people messed up (Which is why she likes me. I'm one of the few that actually spell it the way she does). Her name is Bekah. She finds people spelling it Becca, or Becah.

Another strange one I've been acquainted to was Danyelle. The Y just threw me off.

And this one comes from Halestorm. When I met Lzzy, she asked me "How do you spell it?" and I went "? J-u-s-t-i-n." and she went "Okay. cause I had this kid the other night, and his name was Justin but I started writing it and he said some crazy stuff like 'No No. It's J-o-u-s-t-e-n'. I can't even remember how he spelled it but it was just like 'Woha! You actually spell it that way?' "

Anymore strange spellings out there?

There was a runnnig back in the NFL, Antowain Smith. He pronounced his first name "Antoine". The strangest spelling of that name I've seen. Pronouncing it phonetically it would be "Ann-toe-wayne"

Haha, the tiniest one I've seen at work was Brittany and Brittney. We had both variations once. I've also seen Brittni.

Bren-nah? That's the only pronunciation I could find.
