Plea bargains are what the defense use to get a lighter sentence. Sometimes pleading guilty to certain crimes instead of going to trial can lessen sentences, even get you off death row and give you life in prison without chance of parole. Admitting guilt can even get you probation instead of jail time. It differs with each crime though.

(x+5)(x-5)
(a+2b)(a-2b)
factor the trinomial
x^2 + 3x - 4
x^2 = (x sqaured)

Okay, yeah, I remember now. Thanks. I have my semester final tomorrow and we did this about three months ago... And now I see that I actually did write to take the square root. That equation was for variants. Anyway, that helps a lot.
