Speaking of youger kids...

My lucky young'uns are getting a wii for Christmas. Can anyone recommend any good games for 7 year olds? She really enjoys Mario Kart, so we've already gotten that. But beyond that and the typical sports games which will keep her "slightly" active during the long winter, I don't really have a clue.

my apologies if i came off edgy in my last post, i was just trying to voice my opinion. I understand how the wii's primary focus is on families and such, but there are hardcore games on it, which is all i was trying to get at. similar to how a ps3/360 has some family orientated games. i even admitted i need a ps3 for good fighting games, but i would just rather point to shoot than deal with dual analogs. the pointing is terrible for fighting games like tekken or street fighter, but it works for shooting games.

I'm a PC gamer... Or was.. Lately I have been concentrating on music. Haven't picked up a game since like may lol. But I used to LOVE Left for dead! I herd a second one came out. I'm thinking of getting it. Anyone else play it on the PC?

i totally understand that. the wii does have some really cruddy games, but they also have a handful of gems. and it is for those games that i keep my hopes high for the wii. I keep praying and hoping for a new Skies of Arcadia port. that was my favourite game i had ever played. unfortunately it is ridiculously hard to find now, considering i do pretty much no online shopping (ebays got some good deals on it, i saw)

the only new game I wouldn't mind getting a copy of is the Super Mario Bros wii game I saw a commerical for a few days ago.

My average K/D spread in any shooter game is generally worse than yours, Deadspace. xD

I managed to get 30 deaths to 2 kills once. That was a really bad game.

This is probably random to what we are currently talking about in this thread but I LOVE: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! It's absolutely amazing! I played it for the first time the other day and I am gonna play it for six hours at my church on friday! I can't wait! Ok, sorry for the interruption.lol. Continue the current, ongoing convo.

Oh and I'm looking into maybe getting COD4/2 and or Left for dead 2 for the PC. I was a fan of both the first ones but I'm really on the fence. Anyone else play these on the PC?
