Just Some Guy who hates yellow Skittles but love SP!

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member to the SPWC. I'm a recording engineer here in Indiana and have played the bass guitar since about '95, so naturally that drew me to SP because of the bass prowess of one said Emma Anzai, but obviously not THE only reason. They freaking own, big time. I'm delighted to see them get the respect they deserve. I've got to see them live numerous times now and ALMOST got to work one of their gigs when I was a union stagehand in Indy, but unfortunately did not. Anyhow, I look forward to meeting many of you and maybe one day becoming an ambassador! Any tips you can give me on earning points and getting more involved would be pretty nice. Take it easy!

Earning points is pretty easy....I'd say providing proof is the hardest part. Online radio requests, taking weekly ratethemusic.com active rock surveys (with screen caps from both), going to shows, buying CDs and merchandise, having SP media on your MySpace, etc... It adds up pretty quickly. There is more information .

Thanks for the warm welcome Becky and Hollee. Special thanks to Becky for fielding my whole plethora of questions since I'm a newbie. Yeah Hollee I have been around the music industry for some time, though I don't get a lot of work these days been real slow. I now pretty much work at a local factory, in fact. Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoy this forum community and look forward to maybe catching one of you at a live show!
