sizing on t-shirts

Does anyone know if their shirts run true to size or are the bigger/smaller than normal?
The shirt I want is only available in L and I need it XL. Wondering if a L would fit or be too small.

Thanks, mine too. I was hoping that it wouldn't be the case with this one.
I so want the Emma Rocks one, oh, well good reason to stick with my diet and lose more weight to finally be able to buy it.

I personally think the girl's shirts run small.

^^ I agree with Becky on girl's shirts, but the others (regular t-shirts) run pretty true to size. The Emma shirt comes in both guys and girls. If you can't fit in size Large you can always get it in the guys style and cut it down to your size and sew it? I've done that with shirt before.

Also the hoodie runs very small.

Yeah, I agree hat the girl's shirts run kinda small, esp the one with the White Balloons, it's tiny. The Emma one not quite as small. Regular tshirts seem about normal, and yes, I think the hoodie is small too!

I definitely agree on the girls shirts running a bit small (depending on which one it is, but all are at least slightly small). The regular men's shirts are pretty true sized I think...
