Lol everyone here (tx) doesn't want to do, I heard someone say this is the most snow we've had since '79. Oh how I wish this was yearly

The DFW area got a foot of snow! That's a new record. That's insane. Here's some pics of the snow where I live.
My dog had a complete blast in the snow. I threw a snowball at him and he cowered.
About five or so inches.
The snowman we made at work. He's itty bitty but we didn't have enough snow.
Scary drive to work.

oo, I love that last photo Hollee! Very serene looking, though hard to believe that it was taken in Texas, lol. Even Texas has more snow than Vermont right now...

I know! You would think those were taken up north somewhere. I was amazed too.
But all the snow has melted away, so it looks like normal boring old East Texas again.

We had like 1 1/2 ft lately. It started melting; yesterday we had 9 or 10 inches. Today we got another inch.
I haven't seen the grass in my neighbor's garden for several weeks.
We haven't had that much snow - for such a long period of time - in 30 years.

MD, I ended up getting about 3 or 4 feet where I live.
It's all just starting to melt off now just to freeze all over the roads.

I'm glad some of you are loving the snow because I totally hate it. I was supposed to go to a pups concert tonight but I'm not brave enough to drive and neither are any of my friends going with me. There was a 40 car pile up on the highway going into Columbus so it was shut down. I'm sooo mad that I'm missing the concert.
