Sick Pups killed it tonight!! they played an amazing show!! Janus was a good opening band...and Chevelle was alright, i mean it is unfair to them they have to play after the Sick Puppies lol
Shim ended the set with a dive into the crowd and surfed it back to the merch table, it was awesome! Great show, the Pups never disappoint!!!

Thoughts on the concert and more....
1. 6th time seeing them and this was either #1 or 2 for best performance
2. I think 3 piece bands sound better live than 4 piece, at least for concerts in these types of venues, so to get Sick Puppies and Chevelle together again made for a great sounding night!!!
3. I say again because the first time I saw (and start following) Sick Puppies was when they opened for Chevelle at this same venue 2 years ago
4. I've got to commend them for signing autographs from the time their set ended until after Chevelle even ended their set. It's rare bands do this and it's nice of them to do for the fans
5. It'd be nice to hear them break out some more obscure songs for once.....I know once they get their own headlining tour they'll be able to do more of those songs
6. Security has gotten way too tight at this venue, as Pete (lead singer) from Chevelle mentioned at the end of the night
7. As much I love Sick Puppies, I am an honest man and give an honest view point, I think Chevelle took it up another notch. Chevelle might not have quite the energy as SP on stage, but there's just a little something musically that Chevelle brings live that SP doesn't. Not quite sure I can put my finger on it. By no means am I knocking SP though, remember statement #1 above. MIght have something to do with being the headliner (I dont know)
8. Overall a very good concert, both bands were into it and crowd was into it as much as security would let them. The sound was probably the best I've seen in that venue, with the exception that Chevelle could have used a little more bass through the PA.
9. Lastly, the merch booth really had alot of varying items on both bands. Alot of times you'll just get the 5 different types of shirts and cd's. Nice work there guys.
10. Sorry for babbling so long....and hope to see the Puppies when they come back to Indy on May 22nd!!!!
