somebody who knew sick puppies

this happened about a week ago. I live in Scotland, and sick puppies are the kind of band, which earns me a slap in the face whenever i mention my love for sick puppies (yay! for misunderstandings!) anyways theyve never been played on the radio or anything over here, and nobody knows them.

when i was walking past the bus station last week, i walked past someone playing white balloons out loud on thier phone and singin to it. needless to say, i got really excited and my brain went woo! and i jizzed in my pants i ended up standing next to him and singing aswell. we couldnt believe we both had actually heard of sick puppies. he lacked the same enthusiasm i had, but he was still a pretty big fan of them. which made me happy

i did appear rather strange when i realised the song and came over singing at him with a huge grin on my face. but i dont care (i was as hyper as a puppy on viagra) as my friends like to say.

just thought id share this magical moment with the rest of you

Wow thats pretty cool...and White Balloons? Not that the song is not good but its not as popular as the two singles. I knew that the Pups were getting more air time when my 50 year old boss was singing You're Going Down at his desk. Funny stuff...

someone i work with knew sick puppies from when YGD was used for WWE. they said they saw the band quickly and thought that Edge was the singer, like chris jericho did a while back.

A guy came up to my paint counter at work the other day wearing a Sick Puppies t-shirt and I pretty much harrassed him the whole time I was mixing his paint.

yeah white balloons, not a really famous song of thiers, but WWE and whatever other advertisements dont play a big part over here (i dont even know if WWE exists here ). i wouldnt be suprised if he had never even heard "all the same". I know when i first heard them, i thought that rock kids was thier biggest song what i mean to say is, in the little land of scotland all songs have an equal chance to be heard

and also they dont get any air time over here

lol, and just the other day some guy going through my line at work (grocery store cashier, blech) asked me if my necklace was from the olympics, lol. I was wearing my Tri-Polar dogtag, and it has the three-rings symbol on one side. And SP is really popular in this area because of our local rock station too.

I like their song 'Rock Kids', hehe. The lyrics are so true it's hilarious. Probably my favorite off their first album besides 'Nothing Really Matters'.

I'm longing for the day where I find someone else in Ireland who knows of Sick Puppies (someone who knew them before I influenced their music taste. ^^). Hopefully it'll be soon! I already found someone here who's heard of Dispatch! D:

i know of no one who has even heard of Sick Puppies even though a while back You're Going Down was on the radio and now Odd One is on the radio.
Scratch that. I know of exactly one person other than me, but he has only heard You're Going Down. He didn't know who it was by but one day in class he asked me if I had heard of a song that said "One of us is going down." I let hiim listen to part of the song on my iPod and he said that that was the one.
But I don't really know anyone who really knows who they are and it's a shame.
I live near Charlotte NC, btw and lots of my friends listen to this kind of music, but they just don't know how to find new bands as well as I do.

lol...I Just heard em a few months ago. (Well I heard em' about a year ago but I didnt know who they were or how 2 find them (Didnt have internet at that point) an almost everybody I kno listens 2 rock music an didn't kno who they wereBut a few months ago I heard em' again an went on recon 2 find em' now Im hooked I've introduced everyone I kno 2 the pups music... Lol...My 50 yr old mom listens 2 the pups now
