ok I literally just got back 10 minutes ago. It sucks that Sick Puppies wasn't there but me and Nikki had an awesome time anyways. Glad we didn't bail out. We were going to pass out flyers to promote Sick puppies and the free hugs movement but they wouldnt let us and they threw them away before they would let us in. But luckily they let the Sick puppies stickers in so we were able to pass those out. We heard some good and some great music there. We made signs and did Free Hugs it was so awsome we got over 150+ free hugs. It was so awesome it made people smile and we got many thank yous I even got 2 I Love You's that made me laugh. Even though Sick Puppies were not there people were still showing there love for them we saw many free hugs t-shirts. Even if Sick Puppies is not there next year I am still going and doing the free hugs because it just got suck a good response there.

I can't believe they wouldn't let you bring in the Sick Puppies stuff. That's so retarded. What were they thinking, that you might papercut someone with it? jk..
But seriously, SP "was" going to be there, and couldn't attend, so they shouldn't have had a problem with the SP promo stuff. I dunno that's just so lame that they made you toss it before entering.

Yeah it was lame but don't know if they even knew who SP was but they might have thought we were trying to promote ourself or a friend so understandable but that was still 400 flyers in the garbage.

Hopefully SP can made Pointfest in August (they usually do 2 of them), that would be awesome.

That's so great Nicole! I'm glad you guys had so much fun and that so many free hugs were given...but it's sad to hear that they made you trash the flyers for SP and free hugs. I would have been like "You don't know who the Sick Puppies are ? " ::)
You would think that they would have at least heard of them since they were supposed to play there.
Hope you got some pictures? If so be sure to post them here!

And did I hear that there is another Pointfest in August...and SP may be there??? If so I will be sure to get my airfare plenty early this time around
