I can't believe I have missed this thread all along....and now I find out that it is not a tattoo on Shim's neck but done with a sharpie- and that was one of my questions in the ask the band thread - LOL.. It is a really cool tradition..really sweet and a ture bonding kind of thing.
I'm actually in the beginnings of finding a tattoo artist to get the japanese symbol for the word "Fly" on the back of my neck. I have a love for birds and winged things and it is pretty cool that it also is a SP song ;D

I was just curious if anyone who mentioned the possibility of this as a tattoo ever wound up getting it... Or if anyone has any SP related tattoos? I didn't really see any out there (except the all the same lyrics on the fan's arm).

I just wondered and thought it would be good to ressurect this thread a few months later and see if anyone has taken any action?!

I think there are so many great parts of their lyrics that would definitely be good for a tattoo!!!! I have been looking for sentences to tattoo but it's so hard to find one that really means something to me.
One I particularly like is "preach me your religion if your dumb enough to pray" but i also think it might cause some problems with people that i know and that are too religious. Not that i should care cause its my body and my thoughts, but i confess i do care a bit about this.... =/

Why doesn't everyone just sharpie the Anzai symbol/characters when they go to a show? If everyone does it no doubt they'll notice. It would be like bringing luck to the band lol, doubt they would be offended by it

Hollee, You are correct. That is Anzai in Kanji. Emma used to draw it on herself, Shim, and I believe Mark when I first started seeing them back in 2008.
