SHIMON MOORE!!

i have a yearning for SHIM, and it kills me to know i cant have him.
i wish i could jus hang out with him at least for a day.

unfortunately, i realize i sound like a typical rock-concert-fan but thats not how i feel. i wish i could convey to them (especially SHIM) how much their music has inspired me, especially ODD ONE & Maybe. I am odd and all too often i live on what people think instead of jus listening to my own damn heart.

i would loove to give shim a hug and then never let go.

to keep the story short and get to the point, i used to cut myself and have weird blood-orgies...and then i won tickets to see sick puppies and i met shim. and that was pretty much where my turn-around began.

however, every time i go up to shim, i melt and freeze up and the words dont flow like they should, and i leave the concert frustrated and intolerably angry with myself every time.

is there any way to hang out with them, like perhaps after a concert? does any body know?

thanks mama. those links were very helpful. guess ill have to think about it a bit more; i definitely am not talkative by nature (only with things/people i love=SHIM ), and i dont particularly define myself as a leader...

Being an ambassador is a fun way to help the band, but it's not a way to become "close" to any of the band members. If that is the reason for applying, you will be disapointed. (Not to mention will probably not make it through the probation period)

I will third Becky and Sam. Being an Ambassador will not and does not get you close to Shim, Emma or Mark. They are very busy most of the time and may or may not even knowledge us for the most part. Our job is to help get the word out, support and talk people up as much as possible at a show...the main focus is never to hang out with the band.

If it is something you are thinking about...keep that in mind and you will go far.

I am an Ambassador, and a moderator, I have been to concerts and I have supported the band through SPWC since the beginning, and I have never met the band!

Being an ambassador isn't about getting close to the band, it's about supporting what you love, and I love the band and if I can do my part in helping them with World Domination, than that is close enough! Remember a band isn't a band without the fans! We are already a part of their life!
