DUDE....the ONE day it rains in a month, but all is well as I'm sure we'll have an awesome time.

Cassie's right! If it rains we'll just all pile into one car. You're all too sweet and awesome about the bday tailgating!!!!

Tonight's the Night!!

So...awesome time last night at the show. We waited for Donna and Julie in the car and it started POURING. Car was shaking, raining sideways. It was awesome. Birthday tailgating and yummy subway (although my friends like to play cruel jokes, like having them write "chad" on my sandwhich... ) Loved the setup of the venue, and they seriously had 5 bars. I guess they wanted to make sure there were drinks readily available in case you got stuck somewhere....haha

Of course their set was amazing, just way shorter than I'm used to and I DON'T like it Afterwards we went to do some crowd control for the signing, since the merch desk was by the entrance in a small area. I guess the pups went out the back of the venue, around the building and in the front doors cuz I was looking in the opposite direction and felt a kiss on my cheek. I was like wtf?? and then turned my head to see Shim walking by...

Unfortunately they didn't do a second signing after the show due to traveling stuff but we got to talk to them for a few minutes before Satan came on stage so I gave Emma her book and vented about my hatred for the devil and how difficult it is to deal with Donna liking them... Then she gave me a hug and they took off.

When they last band went on, Donna squealed and ran off to the pit, and I ran off to the bar Luckily their set was only an hour. We visited Gerry who defaced my arm by "adding" to my tattoo with more music notes and the words "My favorite "The band that shall not be named" song." Damn curiosity got the better of me. We got to see James after "The band that shall not be named" finished though, which was nice since it was too crowded to get to the stage to see him after SP was done. He gave me one of Emma's new picks, and it's pretty sweet, I must say...Goodbyes were tough but hopefully there will be another show soon.

David, nice meeting you. Dani, nice to see you again.

According to some videos on youtube posted by nibbanafamily , looks like the venue or the crew had Emma's gear all f'ed up. The mic wasn't working...her bass wasn't right apparently because she kept running back to tweak it. Feel sorry for her. Looks like she dropped some F bombs and everything.

Yeah, it seemed she was having issues. They only had 20 minutes to change over and didn't have time to do any kind of a sound check.

The show was still awesome though.
