I know right? It was so silly because it wasn't that major. I guess it is because we never have earthquakes so people were scared... I was confused as to why my chair was rocking

We just had a 4am storm in Ro-town that managed to turn the light in our backyard on.
Those light poles from electric companies? yeah ours is NEVER on and we don't know why. Except during really bad storms, then it turns on. Briefly. The one time I want to see lightning and not that damn light....pfft.
My mom says she gets some crazy storms in Lawton, OK too. Yeah OK, one of the tornado capitals. I was there in May. The day I left, a ton of tornadoes hit.
I wanted to see one!

Well we've had some storms the last couple days. Last night it stormed right out of town but never did anything here. The sky was pretty eerie for about 15 minutes and then went completely black...yes really 15 minutes. are some pictures from the eerie sky.
Tonight we had a pretty wicked lightning storm. It has rained some but here just a LOT of lightning. are some pictures of the lightning. Some of them are pretty awesome.

Everyone in my area is scared to death of this hurricane Earl. I'm preying its all hype cuz if the power goses out for to long and we don't turn on the gereator the septic backs up, and me and my sister have the bedrooms in the basment.

We had a storm hit at 1am last night. We were driving home and it started hailing and lightning hit really close. Craaaaazy stuff.

Ouch, I'm assuming you're from America? In Australia, our storms are vicious as heck, and plus it's extremely hot. It's very un-cool.

It's not storming here, but it's pouring and will continue to do so for the rest of the day. We're getting tropical moisture from a former storm (not sure which one, maybe Nicole?) so we're supposed to get in the excess of 2+ inches.
