Most Embarrassing Moments @ Sick Puppies Concert

I wouldn't say I've had a moment where I was really really embarassed but I do get kind of uncomfortable when I talk to them at the autograph table. I feel like they're freaked out by me and that I should just quietly get my autographs and leave.

I don't think they actually feel that way. It's just how I feel that they feel...it's wierd.

No worries about Emma. She's very sweet and an extremely nice person. Honestly, their schedule keeps them on the move constantly and after playing a set....then the autograph line, it gets tiring. Next time you're in line to get something signed, I would say a quick hi to her and she'll say hi back with a smile. All three LOVE their fans. I'm a huge concert buff and this is one band who constantly devotes time, smiles and thank yous to their fans.

It gets easier the more you see them, I promise. I think we've all been at that awkward phase where we didn't know how to act/talk to them...

It really does get easier the more you see them. The first couple of times I saw them, I managed to hold a little bit of a conversation with Shim. The 3rd and 4th time was better. After the 8th concert I'd been to in 8 months, it was easy talking to the band as a whole. One thing that may help me is that I'm REALLY hard to forget because I stand out in the crowd.

I don't think it counts as "embarrassing" but, my last concert in Baton Rouge was great. After the show, I didn't even have time to get to their part of the table completely and I happen to look down toward them while talking with the drummer of Janus, and I see. From Mark, Emma, and Shim. It was absolutely awesome. I kept my cool when I made it to them, but inside I was going . lol

It definitely gets better the more shows you go to, like everyone said. My first show (was also the first time I ever even heard of them) I just looked at them and smiled while they signed my stuff and couldn't hardly spit out a word when we took pictures. I was still in that 'omg' starstruck easily age. My second show I didn't get a chance to meet them. Fast forward a year and then I spend three days/nights around them and finally I got familiar with them and was able to talk to them easily. After a couple other small outings with them and the eventful night in New Orleans, they're like friends to me now. I can be a total nerd around them (especially Shim) and not feel retarded (much).
