Meh. I don't get the Star****s love. One of our local radio stations actually has a bumper that says "Y'know, for as much as Starbucks charges for a cup of coffee the least they could do is put some *beeeep*s on that mermaid...Oh look, new music! Yay!"


I love my local coffee shop, who roast their own beans in-store and make delicious things like a velvet elvis (white chocolate caramel latte, always with the whipped cream and white chocolate shavings) and pumpkin spice lattes. Kennedy FTW. A velvet elvis every once in a while makes my day better.

(True story: a former-friend who worked at Starbucks once upon a time tried to make a velvet elvis--I guess it tasted terrible.)

Haha, my town has only 5000 people in it. Starbucks is all we have, besides our own coffee makers.

Yeah, I don't have anything here either. We only have a McD as of a few months ago. Closest coffee shop here is about 10 miles away, and the one I was talking about before is ~30 miles out (but so much worth the trip). So coffee, unless I make it at home, is an occasional thing.
