Gifts for Sick Puppies

Just wanted to know what types of things you have given the Pups as gifts. I went shopping yesterday, was disgusted at all the x-mas already out, but happened upon these cool felty x-mas ornament kinda things that I picked up. I said those would be nice to give the band. I have to decorate them however so I'll need some color ideas. I wanted to do their favorite colors or something like that. I don't really want them to look x-masy though. Something they could hang in their bunks or keep on the bus year round would be super . You see it has a word in the center of the ornament. A word I see Shim has written on his hand before. "JOY" I hope they turn out ok. I'll be seeing the band 2 weeks from today. I hope I can pull them off ok. If not I tried. Hopefully they will be able to stay a little and talk. I know like 2 days later they have to be in NC from VT.

I was thinking Red/Black for Shim, Hot Pink & Black for Emma, Mark- ? not so sure..gotta be something and Black to match...maybe orange or a bright green?

Well I've given them cookies the photos of past shows I've taken, drawings of them my sister has done. I've given Shim a Nightmare Before Christmas wristband and a Nightmare Before Christmas shirt this past Houston show..Mainly I give them cookies, drawings, and a huge thank you.

Ok first attempt with black spray paint, glue for glitter, and red glitter didn't go so well...and very messy.

So was about to give up when I said "Let's Do This!" & got myself the motivation to give it another try.

I just sprayed the JOY ornaments each with a different color. Black for Shim, Green for Mark, and Raspberry for Emma. Then I had glitter sprays so I sprayed silver sparkle on Emma & Mark's. Shim's I did gold. I'm thinking of going over Shim's with a red glitter tomorrow (to brighten it and look more like his guitar)

What do you think? I got the felt ornaments at Michael's craft store and floral paint I had at the flower shop I own but you could buy them at Michael's as well. I am planning on typing up a heartfelt note to them and buying them each a Starbucks gift card (I hope they have those )
They kinda look like the Tri-Polar rings too don't they That makes them even cooler! I just want to give back some of all the joy they have given me during this hard year. Happy Turkey Day All.

Those are really beautiful! I love them!

When I saw SP back in August, I brought them all gifts. I got Emma some new arm warmers, Shim a Nightmare Before Christmas belt and Jack Skellington belt buckle, and Mark a Homer Simpson tee. I haven't see them wearing any of them yet, but I'm hoping one day I will.

They looove when we all bring them stuff.

They look great! I'm sure they'll love them. They love any gifts they get. I feel like the spoiling grandparents...Whenever I buy b-day gifts for one of them, I feel like I have to give the other 2 something...SO I usually get them something small. Trying to stop doing that as much, cuz I'm broke. Not doing gifts for them this year cuz I can't afford it, but I had my friend make a kick-a** cup for Emma that I'll be giving her Sunday. I'm excited.

Ha I got each of them little bottles of Pure Canadian syrup for sunday...so they will have no choice but to play a show here to get more
