I don't think there will be any kind of romantic relationship between them. Owen showing up pretty much confirmed that; it would be too weird if he was just there for one episode and left, I think Lumen will end up getting back with him.

I just watched a bunch of SHOWTIME shorts from Comic Con where they interviewed the cast, production, and writers of Dexter. It was so cool hearing them talk about the characters! They confirmed the Rita will not be returning to the show - not even in Dexter's mind.
They talked a lot about how it is difficult for Dexter to stick to the code.

Okay, finally catching up on these. I'm watching the newest one (from 2 days ago) and holy s**t. This show is going to give me a heart attack. I swear...I should have known that Dexter would not be in the house but was next door. Still, holy @&!*...
