Burlington VT - Higher Ground 29 November 2010

Just got my tix. I'm jazzed for this.
The first time I saw them was Nov 3. at the Gramercy Theatre. I was impressed.
It'll be a 4hr drive and I have to be at work the following day (maybe), but it'll be worth it.

I'm really digging their lastest cd! It's wicked awesome! I've seen them everytime they have played at Higher Ground, VT and was priviledged to see them when they played at the Bell Centre! I'm hoping this is the concert I get a pic with Emma!

Higher Ground is the place they've played the most in the country? I believe it. And I've been to all seven times. I'm not sure how much of the stuff Shim said was just for us really was, but we got a full and electric F*ck You cover and a two-song acoustic set. Also new since their last time here was a mini-cover of Killing in the Name Of. As always, I loved it all, and like almost all of their shows, I had someone who had never seen then before with me, along with my friends who have been to 3 or 4 of them, and as with everyone, he loved it. Is the "only sign for the first 200 people who buy merch" thing a regular thing, or even true at all? The Odd One arm stamp was a nice touch, but that doesn't seem like their style at all. Not that I wouldn't have gotten a new shirt anyway. As always, I got that and the ticket signed, and the band was glad to know I had been there all seven times, and recognized me from at least once. Great time. I can't wait until they come back. Hopefully it won't be as long of a wait this time. Also, I didn't realize Terrible Things was made up of former members of Taking Back Sunday, Coheed and Cambria, and Hot Rod Circuit. I thought they were quite good and bought their CD. Oh wow, it's 4 in the morning, I should really be getting to bed. In the next few hours. As bad a day for a concert as Monday might seem, it's the only day I have off and the next day off, so it's perfect for me.

The concert last night was awesome as always! I'm already looking forward to the next show! I really ejoyed the acoustic break, it was a nice treat. I took my bass player with me to this show who was a newbie to the SP shows and after listening to only two songs he was convinced to add Odd One to our set list! I'm stoked to actaully play some SP tunes out! I wanted to get some pics of Emma this time but like a dumass I forgot my camera. Does anyone here have any photo's of Emma from the HG show last night I could have? Thanks!

I am jealous that you all got to hear the F*ck You cover. I heard that they played it in Portland so I expected to hear it in either Hartford or Syracuse, but they didn't end up playing it.

For those at the show, did they still play Say My Name being that they did the F*ck You cover?

They did both, F*ck you and Say my name at HG. I heard there was a girl who looks like 4 or 5 yo at that show. I just laughed as i imagined the little girl jumping up and down and yelling F*ck YOU! .
