2011 New Year's Resolutions
With 2010 just about over and 2011 right around the corner I wondered if you were making any New Year's resolutions. I have several ideas for mine but I haven't decided on anything. I'd like to hear some of your thoughts.

I stopped making them because every year I used to I would break it within the first month or so.

This is the first year that I'm going to actually take it seriously.
I'm going for a completely new me. In most ways. I'm going to be dying my hair blue (I've never dyed it before, so I'm a bit of a noob at it. <_< ), going to be trying to curb my high levels of procrastination, going to be trying to be a much better person... And just get out more, change my personality a bit! Why? I'm not sure. I think I'm suffering that kind of "post-breakup" thing where one person changes themselves completely. Except my last breakup was over a year and a half ago, so that's not it! Oh yes, and write more. I took a severe break from writing in 2010 which I don't believe was a good thing. Instead, I read a hell of a lot. A lot of different styles of writing, too. This year, I'm going to actually get a good chunk of my book finished, if not the whole thing.
At least that's what I hope to do for 2011. <_<

Yes, I already have my resolution figured out. I HAVE TO: Be more healthy. I need to go back to the gym and make healthier food choices.

My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.

I don't think one should wait for a new year to make positive changes in their life/lifestyle. You should do good/happy things for yourself every day. You should make a change when you realize you need it, not when society or tradition dictates it's time for a resolution. And that's my opinion on new year's resolutions...

But I'd have to say, I am very proud of all the progress I have made this year and I plan on continuing in my advancements.
