Just need some pointers on this topic if anybody could share...
I've been working with this girl at my job at Showsec and wanted to ask her on a date. But i talked to another one of the lads i know there and told him that i only get like 10- 20 mins with her every shift and wanted to have a day to get to know her... he said build a foundation with her and become good friends before asking her out on a date...
Another thing is that how do i eliminate the fact she might be dating some one already without directly saying do you have a boyfriend?
Want to ask this girl out on a date but....

if i were that girl...and there was a guy diggin me that i didn't know about...being asked out on a date would be quite flattering and exciting!
i say go for it and just ask her out....but if you're a bit hesitant...maybe after the holiday ask her what she got from her beau...she'll tell you what she received or tell you she doesn't have one.
Best of luck!!

Hmm, there's a number of ways you could approach this.
First, by eliminating the question if she has a boyfriend, you could casually say something along the lines of, "So where is your family from? Why did you choose to move here?" ect ect.
Other than that the best thing to do is take things slow and let them go with the flow. If you rush it there's a chance that things will burn out quickly, so just be wary of that.
Good luck!

Will I ever learn to treasure the ones I care for? Everyone leaves in the end doesn't matter how hard you hold on. Doesn't matter how much you drain your heart for.

There's a few ways to go about this. You can either ask her out and get to really know eachother from that point on, or (what I think is best) become friends with her first, and if you're both into eachother go from there.
When you have the 10-20 minute shifts with her, how much of that time do you talk to her? If you don't talk to her much, you need to step that up. Ask her a lot of questions about her holiday, then like Mandi said, ask if her boyfriend got her anything. That'll eliminate all doubt, if she says she doesn't, say "you are too pretty to not have a boyfriend". Go from there. Keep things subtle.
Whatever you decide to do, do it soon. It's a good time of year. Valentines day is coming up.

My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.
