Random fact about Mark Goodwin?

Well, "Maybe" was playing on one our radio stations the other day (I freak out whenever this happens, because all we have is Top 40 stations - no hard rock or alternative rock, it sucks). And after the beautiful melody finishes, the radio guy says "And that was Sick Puppies, an up-and-coming rock band from Australia. And that band has an interesting connection to Michael Jackson".

Of course my face was like:

The way he put it, apparently Mark's dad was one of the EMT's who was the first to arrive on the scene when it came to MJ's death. This is COMPLETE news to me. Anyone else?

I just thought it was a REALLY random thing for the radio guy to say. That is all, LOL.

well...i was curious and you guys didn't hear it from twitter yes. yes i did spend 15 minutes going all the way back to june of 2009 and i didn't see anything....soooo it must have been facebook?

Yeah Jess you are right. I remember that MJs death being just about the only thing being posted about so I scrolled a bit and saw Marks then turned off FB for the night because I really never feel the need to dwell on celebrity death...
