Riptide is very popular in my area. There are no differences in the single version.

I think Should've Known Better would just got lost among all the other mellow alt. rock songs out there. I like it, but it doesn't really stand out like some of the other songs. If I had my #1 choice, it would be So What I Lied.

I'm ecstatic that Riptide was chosen, myself. Not that it actually matters too much to me - I'm lucky I even got to hear "Maybe" at all on my local radio stations, they never play anything beyond Top 40. But it is a good expression of the band. Emma's epic bass line, Shim's "so what" attitude in the vocals, and just a smooth and catchy rock song. The only song I think might have Top 40 quality to it, other than "Maybe", is "Don't Walk Away". But Riptide isn't anything to complain about.
And here's a pro about it nobody's mentioned...typically singles have videos, right? So does that mean we get to see the amazing Anzai play the bass line in an official music video? Anyone looking forward to that possibility????

Riptide is awesome. I can't wait to hear it here, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. And if, than would it take a really long time (I know the Dutch radio-stations longer than today...)
