Honestly, White Balloons gave me chills. So did Odd One. I used to drive my previous roommate insane with The Pups. Today after chapel (we go to a private baptist college) I made her listen to the new version of White Balloons. She was blown away. she actually enjoyed it and we didnt even make it to the really pretty orchestral section after the "angels...lift me..." section. I think she would have appreciated it even more.

So I have been to two Wal Marts in my area and NEITHER one of them have Polar Opposite! I am soooo upset! I've been to one Wal Mart three times and nope. Nothing.
A friend of mine got it on iTunes and sent it to me as a birthday gift, so I have the digital copy, but I need a physical copy. I will not leave Wal Mart alone until I get one!
But anyway, now that I have listened to it, You're Going Down and Odd One had me absolutely floored. Amazing. They made YGD a beautiful almost ballady type of song. Shim's voice is amazing. I didn't even recognize Odd One until I heard Shim singing, the kid choir intro was perfect.
So much Emma!! I love love LOVE how much she sings on this. She should definitely sing more live, cause she's great at it.
The addition of the strings and the chimes/triangles/etc added so much depth to the songs, I really need to listen to it a bunch more times to find everything, and I'll probably STILL find new things in them.

I only have an iTunes copy at the moment. I am in love with White Balloons! I'm also loving Riptide and Odd One a lot.
