I'm seriously considering piercing my own cartilage in my ear...should I? Or just pay for someone else to do it. I mean, I know how to do it...

^^I could never pierce myself, like some people do. But my friend knows how to pierce, and I've seen him do it. He sterilizes for a LONG time. If you can do it correctly, and won't mess it up on yourself, why not? But only if.

Speaking of, I think I may have my friend pierce my other...not really my eyebrow...but on the other side of where my current one is...

^When i was 16, i (very stupidly) decided i was going to pierce the cartiledge part of my ear.. it came out fine and it never got infected BUT explaining it to your family?? I am still trying to live down the stupid lie i ended up telling them, i said that some girl i knew pierced it in the school bathroom during lunch period.. im not sure what's worse, that lie or the fact the my family did and still does believe it

I got FOUR piercings tonight. Two eyebrow, tounge and labret.

I've had them all before. Labret for 2 years, tounge for a year, eyebrow only last 5 months. I had to take them out to get a real job. But I've been there 5 years now so I'm going to see what I can get away with.

It's a bit awkward to sleep on that side of my face. I have a tiny pillow. If i put it back by my ear, it isn't too bad....haha.

I have had horrible, horrible luck with piercings so I've been a bit reluctant to get any. I got my ears pierced when I was 6...one night my mom was helping me get ready for bed, ripped a sweater over my head, and ripped the earring out in the process. Tried again at 10...yeah, you know how they tell you to twist the earring a little bit right after it's pierced (at least that's what I was told), I twisted it too much..somehow the earring got INSIDE my ear. Let's just say I bled a lot once we finally got it out. Tried again at 18..I waited past the time I was supposed to, to change the earring and couldn't get it through. It closed already somehow.

I kind of want to get my eyebrow done now, but I'm a little scared of something crazy happening

I just got my belly button done last friday.

Anyone else have this done? Mine is sore and red at the top of the piercing. (And it's a little crooked. Idk if it's 'migrating' or if the guy just did it that way.)

But my friend's is crooked too, and she got hers done a long time ago.
Anyway.
It hurts.

I got my belly button pierced yesterday. I'm surprised that actually getting it pierced didn't hurt as bad as everyone said it was going to. It has been pretty sore though since I got it done.

I'm debating whether or not I should get a cartilage piercing.

Random..but does anybody have dermal piercings?
My friend and I are planning on getting one this weekend. I want to get two on the back of my neck.. Just curious about how much they hurt, if you like them, if they're hard to take care of/any issues, etc..
