Sick Puppies on Lopez Tonight 1/17/11

I loved that they played Riptide! I wish that had been on air!! I agree that they were totally playing in the dark for the first part. I loved that the lights kicked on when the chorus started and they really started rocking. It was very artsy... but it could have started a touch lighter. Overall though, excellent, beautifully executed, 10 times better than Leno.

Thought they sounded great. Wasn't a huge fan of the sound on Leno...it wasn't flattering to our Pups. Lopez's was much better.

I set my alarm for midnight cause it had been a long day. That's when it was due to start in my area. I wanted to get in a couple hours sleep before the show. I set my alarm and the blasted thing didn't go off, so out of the blue I wake up and look over at my alarm clock to see it read exactly 1am (when the show was ending). I was steamed! But thank goodness for technology and the internet. I saw it from the link and it was great so proud of them. Better than Leno. I hope they don't get too big and forget about us. They deserve all this sucess and more. They work so hard. Yes I agree that poor Shim doesn't show lack of sleep well. My mom says he probably has bad sinus problems, hence the puffy eyes and the constant nose rubbing in interviews that I've noticed. My dad jokingly said its from the cocaine... You could tell they were really getting into it and felt themselves and relaxed in this performance. I think they were nervous about Leno, they were shy and more buttoned up. Emma was waling away at the bass and Shim was really getting into the singing. I'm so happy for them and couldn't be prouder. WD baby WD!!! My mom added that they'll probably be booked for others. I say they need to be interviewed and be on Regis n' Kelly, Saturday Night Live, & Today Show concerts. Can you see them being on SNL and being in skits and stuff. That'd be amazing. George at the end was so funny. At first I couldn't figure out what we was doing and then it clicked. He was enjoying Emma's fan that was blowing on her!! He was like fixing his hair in the breeze. Shim was laughing, so he seemed to get a kick out it too She didn't have her fan set up at Leno I don't believe. I wonder why not. Awesome that they got to play more than 1 song as well. The web exclusive is a neat idea. Amazing performance as usual, but did we really expect any different??
