Dogs. I love dogs.
I just feel like they interact with you so much more, and the traditional idea that they're "loyal" and "man's best friend".

I'm more of a cat person. I don't have the dedication and time needed for a dog, so we have cats. Much easier to care for. And BTW, they can actually be very loyal and loving, it just depends on the personality. Not all cats are standoffish and stuck up. I have three, and none of them are like that.

I had a cat that used to wait on top of my Mom's car for me everyday when I got home from school. He followed me around like a dog. My dad tried to get rid of him, dropped him off at a Red Lobster about 10 miles away...he was back within a week. Now I have a cat that is so snugly she's almost annoying. One of the other cats used to wedge himself between me and any man that came into the house. And then attack them. (he's finally used to my boyfriend now) Very territorial and protective! I had a really bad boyfriend for awhile and he self mutilated until the guy was finally gone. They are very interesting little creatures.

I'm definitly a dog person, never been a fan of most cats, (there are exceptions) and being allergic to cats doesn't really help me to like them either.
Dogs are more loyal and you can actually play interact more with them. Cats go their own way, they are too independent.
But I have a friend who has the two most amazing cats I've ever seen. They are actually little dogs.. one of them even gives paws and can do other tricks. I know there are cats who can be as loyal and loving as dogs, just also depends on their owners how they raise the cats

CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are so adorable and like to cuddle up with you when you are sleeping. They do the sweetest things when you are upset and the clean themselves and can use a litter tray. Plus they don't try to hump your leg or eat everything.

I love dogs especially big dogs they are my favorite. I don't mind cats I never had one before because my bro was allergic to them.

Well after all the cats and dogs i see passing on the forum i have to be the odd one

they both have a good side. Let's say dogs are loyal, friendly, and a good company when you're alone or bored.

And when we go to cats. they don't just eat wash and sleep. They play with you or just lay on your lap they don't make to much noise.

But most of all they are both just pets, you can love them both you just need to know how.

And yes i really had to think about this message, just to give you all my opinion about battling cats and dogs.

Dog's are not as smart, but they understand you and try to comfort you.
But cat's are smarter and, good hunters and they don't get under your feet as much.
So it's kind of a 50/50 deal.

Two of my dogs are scorpion hunters. If they see one in the house they corner it and bark at it until Dave goes and kills it. I run screaming in the other direction.

i have one, and it is a maine coon. and a maine coon is a cat that always want to be with the humans. so where i am the cat is also. if i'm sitting on the coutch and the cat is sleeping, i stand up and before i stand the cat stands before me haha. and she is much softer than a dog. and i don't have to walk with her when it raining
