What do people want to see on the next SP album

Hey guys. I don't know if I'm alone here, but I am a much bigger fan of "Dressed up as Life" than "Tripolar". Maybe it's Nostalgia. Idk. Anyhow, what sort of things do people want to see on their next album? For example, I would like to see a fully acoustic album, or at least more acoustic tracks, more of Emma singing, and an overall less produced, grittier, maybe even lo-fi feel.

Yes. I LOVE Dressed Up As Life. I actually bought Tripolar first (only about a year ago!) and when i got DUAL a couple weeks later, i was blown away. I agree that Tripolar was a little too produced. Slick. Shiny. There are some tracks that I really enjoy, but all of my favorites are from DUAL.

Musically, I would like to see more instrumental solos, more of Emma's harmonies, and a less "produced"-sounding project overall. I hope they take more chances. Tripolar sounds like what a record label dreams of; DUAL has more personality, more risks. Lyrically, I would love it if the songs were as well crafted and personal as DUAL seems to be. In the live chat last year, someone referenced "So What I Lied" asking who had cheated on their significant other, and Shim said none of them had. Which is great, good for them, but it also makes that song a little hollow for me. I am fine with story-telling in songs, "Howard's Tale" is a great example, but it is told in the third person (for the most part) which lends it a credence that "So What I Lied," "Master of the Universe," even "You're Going Down" lack. So, if they are going to write songs outside of their experience, i hope they will consider writing it in the third person.

I loved DUAL!!! I like Tri-Polar too but it's not as hard hitting and raw as DUAL. I believe for their next album they should go back to more of the DUAL roots, and make some cool guitar solos like on 'My World' and 'Pitiful' and make EMMA SING MORE!!!

More songs like "The Pretender" . A song with only Emma Vocals, would like to see her do a standalone song (all instruments still of course, just mean only she sings during the song) Yes I love TriPolar but do agree DUAAL was better. Agree with a little less "polished" sounds. Some bands sound better with, some without, SP sounds better without.

Would also like to see a song with the whole band doing the singing together (similar to a lot of Mumford and Sons songs)

There are several songs that I love off of each of their albums. Cancer, Odd One, Riptide, Master of the Universe, The Bottom, Monsters, Nothing Really Matters. I am getting really excited at the prospect of them taking the best of each of those albums and just blowig us away!!

I would love an album like DUAL (with cancer, pitiful, my world like songs) with a bit of a tri-polar (war, you're going down, survive etc) feeling to it. Maybe with an Emma solo-vocal song :3
