In honor of Mark's 3rd tour tip post your favorit local (not a chain) eatery.

I have a few but one we went to recently that I want to back to is called .

Its Chineese Mexican fusion. We found out about it because of a show called Diners Drivins and Dives. Best part is its only a few miles from the house!

There's a thai restaurant in my hometown, Rochester NH called yo's thai cuisine. It is the BEST thai food ive ever had and theyre one of the few restaurants in the area ive been to that will make anything on their menu vegetarian

we have a really good little restraunt here in eugene, OR called cafe 440, all of the ingredients they use are locally grown and they have some of the best burgers ever! (plus they use local grass fed beef, so no mad cow! )

If you're ever in Chicago, try and stop by a burger places called . They have some wicked awesome burgers with crazy ingredients. They also blast heavy metal in the restaurant and the burgers are named after bands.

Maybe if enough of us go, we can get them to make a Sick Puppies burger!

Living in Kansas City, I am all about barbeque. My favorite joint is called Porky's in Grain Valley. It's kind of a small place with a pretty simple menu, and it's out in the sticks. I think its better than the more well known Kansas City BBQ joints. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I like going there on my lunch break on Fridays.

Oddly I can't think of a place where I grew up and live now, Sioux Falls, SD. I can, however, think of two places in Omaha, NE where I lived for about 9 years until almost a year ago. One is which is a bar with great food and the second is . Yeah I really am referencing a pizza place I really do think this pizza is so different than any I have had and is nothing like your Godfather's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, etc.

Getting hungry from all these food places!

One of my favorites is in Arnhem, Dollars is the name of it and a good friend of my is the cook there, they just changed the kitchen. It is now a grill/barbeque place. They also play live music cause it is a Rock cafe!!

I think has to be my fave place in Jax, awesome gourmet tacos and they're willing to work with any requests. It's a pretty cool place too, but I think they're relocating soo because they're getting too popular for the space they're in

So: I have a thing for Chinese/Japanese buffets. Best one I found that is somewhat close to me (but at the same time not quite) is the Supreme Chinese Buffet in Hagerstown, MD. It's the first Chinese/Japanese buffet that I've ever been to that actually has a hibachi grill right next to the huge selection of sushi... great now I want some.
One that is much closer to home (but with much less sushi and no hibachi) is the Jumbo Buffet in Charles Town, WV.

Vinnie R's which is some of the best Italian food i've found, almost as good as my italian aunt's cooking, an she's from the old country!
