Free Hugs at the Pride Parade

I did free hugs at the pride parade yesterday. It was great so many people gave me hugs a few looked at me weird, but who cares. I went 2 hours early and it was a little slow in the begining but then picked up. But I wanted to actually watch the parade too, so we went to the railing and I held it over the side of it. Before the parade actually started, people were climbing threw the bars to run and give me a hug, it was so cute. And my friend Sandy was with me and she thought I was a little crazy at first but when they asked if she was doing it to she said yes and now she wants a free hugs shirt for next year. But the most awesome part was that people jumped off the floats to give me hugs. It was so much fun.

I wanna do a Free Hugs thing, but i don't like being touched. :O
But I'd do it for Sick Puppies, eh.

I had the same problem with not wanting to be touched by stranger but it is a good feeling especially when they say thanks I was having a bad day and that it made them feel better.

Yeah, that's probably why I would do that.
Just knowing I made someone feel better with just a hug..
It is a good feeling

Good idea Nicole glad you got lots of hugs! Yeah i need to get a shirt so i can have a free hugs day, but im afraid of being touched by creepy people hmmm where to find good people who dont think of free hugs as a dirty thing?

But what the heck.
Hopefully that's a very small minority of people.

I'm going to pride in San Diego the weekend of my birthday.
I'm thinking of maybe following in your footsteps Nicole.
But I don't have a FREE HUGS tee yet.
I hardly ever wear white. I somehow always manage to stain.
Hopefully we'll get a black short sleeve or tank soon!

^^^^ No I got a few of the actual parade but it died in the middle of the parade, so no. But next year i will bring extra batteries.
