Introducing Robin Wilson Staley, our Fan of the Week!

When did you first hear about the band?
I first heard about the band about two years ago. I had just started a new job...a good job and I heard ‘Maybe’, my favorite song. It was very encouraging to me. After a difficult childhood I was always feeling helpless to things happening around me...especially the not so good things. Then, I kid you not, one day after hearing that song...I cried, then wiped my tears and said, “maybe its time for change...and its up to me. No one else.” I have made some big changes lately, for the better.

What is your favorite song?
I love all Sick Puppies songs. ‘Odd One’, and ‘Maybe’, and the new one, ‘Telling Lies’ especially. I love all their songs honestly and even have exercised and lost weight listening to a lot of their songs...gets me pumped! I even listen to them at work when I can.

Are you a member of the SPWC forum?
I don’t think I am a member of the forum, but I sure need to find out if I can be! I do get Sick Puppies emails and twitter updates. (Oh and I so want the tweak shoes!! Lol, size 7 please!)

Where are you from?
I have lived in Indiana my whole life. I grew up in Bedford, a small town.

Why do you love them?
Sick Puppies are talented and inspiring...it’s obvious that they all play from their hearts and souls. I am a 39 yr old mother of three and listen daily to music. For me, music -especially Sick Pups- lifts my moods and heals my soul.
