Introducing T.J. Carrozza, our Fan of the Week!




When did you first hear about the band?
I first heard of them back around 2006 when they were touring with Flyleaf and Resident Hero. I noticed they were opening and I looked them up before the show. That’s when I saw the Free Hugs video and became familiar with the music. After seeing them live, I was completely addicted to everything about them. Their sound was so unique, and they had so much energy. Something about them was different, I’ll never really be able to explain it, but I knew the moment I saw them live that they were going to be one of my favorite bands out there.

What is your favorite song?
This is an impossible question to answer, I have many favorite songs, but if I had to narrow it down to 3 (I think that’s fair) it would be: Riptide, The Pretender, All the Same, My World, and The Bottom. Whoops, that’s 5..

Yeah sure ya betcha!

If so, why did you decide to join?
Because it’s the best place to stay current with everything Sick Puppies and meet new people that all love the band as much as you! I even became an ambassador and helped promote the band for a while but eventually had to stop because life got pretty busy.. But I have such fond memories and miss it soo much!

Where are you from?
Originally Lancaster, PA but now I live in Spring Hill, FL.

Why do you love them?
Because not only are they an amazing bunch of musicians, but they are also amazing people. Anyone who’s been going to the shows over the years knows how they care about their fans, so much so that they want to personally meet everyone after a show, no matter who you are. Being able to meet them so many times throughout so many shows has brought me to consider them as friends, for they always recognize me and throw big smiles and hugs. I will always appreciate that about them, because music is such a large part of my life and to have that personal connection with the musicians you love by reaching out to them and having them reach back is something to be thankful for. I will always look up to them for that!
