A few days ago Shim said the video for There's No Going Back "premieres on VEVO the 3rd of June, that’s the premiere online and there’s going to be sneak peeks behind the scenes videos leading up to it".
Mark said they "shot it on green screen and it’s definitely different than anything we’ve ever done."

The music video should be pretty interesting, the use of a green screen could make it awesome or extremely terrible...

Here is my over analysis of the trailer.

I think that the story might be something about how when they all seem dirty and lost in the desert that they are dwelling in their past. The dressed in white transparent versions are a future consciousness looking back at that the past struggles and the moment they realize that it was their past that made them who they are today is when they all rise (float) above their struggles and move on from it.

At least that's my take on whats happening and what I take away from the meaning of the song.

I just watched the new trailer for There's No Going Back and honestly, I didn't like it. I get the message behind the song and the video goes right along with that but the video is just really over the top. There are literally hologram versions of them floating in the desert. I think they've just gone too far in a weird direction with this song and video. It's just really cheesy.

Weird? Maybe. Definitely interesting! I'm withholding judgement until I see the whole video. It will be different for sure, which is in the plus column in my book. And at least it isn't the whole band walking together to the lyrics "I walk alone."

Did anyone notice that the teaser has the explicit lyrics rather than the clean "forget going back"?

I feel like the video's gonna be real interesting, but the part where it shows "White" Shim singing to himself looks really awkward.

Not that I don't like it, but it could be worse. The video for Three Days Grace's Chalk Outline is just Adam Gontier walking and singing at a camera zooming in and out.
Fancy white-suit Shim makes me laugh a little. He's just so spiffy. I'm kinda curious to know if they come up with the idea for the videos or if the production team for the video thinks of everything.

The only thing I'm not a fan of is people in music videos looking directly into the camera...like they're looking at me. I think it takes the realism out of it. That's one thing I really didn't like about the Riptide video and the only thing I didn't like with Odd One.

Other than that, I will reserve judgement until I see the whole thing but I do think it's interesting. Production value certainly went up and that's not a bad thing!
