Hi Everyone! (I'm new here) My husband and I are going to this concert. I've seen Sick Puppies twice this year, once in Lancaster at the Chameleon Club and once in Philly (I forget the venue! lol!) I'm a huge "The band that shall not be named" fan, and had already purchased tickets to this show when I found out that Sick Puppies were joining up on their summer tours! Yay! I hope they play "The Bottom" also! Its one of my favorites, but then, the whole cd is like that!

I received my tickets in the mail today for this show and in bold print on the front of the tickets it says that no cameras are allowed. Does anyone know why this is? Does that mean we wont be able to take pics with the band after their set?

Most places don't allow cameras unfortunately. I still manage to get them in though lol. There's places you can hide them .

I've never been to a place that didn't allow cameras. I work for Live Nation and their rules state that it is up to each individual band.

I was in NJ today hanging the posters for the show and there is a sign above the House of Blues Music Hall that states No cameras and No video . I have definitely taken cameras into shows where it stated you couldn't - my only fear is that I would be the one to get kicked out of the SP show for disobeying

My camera is coming with me, regardless. I will stick it down my pants. It is super small and for that reason that I can sneak it everywhere.

I don't think that I've ever been to a show where they were gung-ho for cameras either. That being said, even if there are strict rules against it somebody always seems to be able to sneak something in (and I don't even want to think about how they're actually doing it...) I'm always afraid that even if I attempt it, I'm going to get my stuff taken away and never see it again, so I usually don't risk it.

I just got some really sucky news today....

My cousin was supposed to come with me to the AC show next week, and now he can't get off of work, so I'm basically on my own and without a hotel room at this point (he usually gets comped for rooms which was why I was going with him in the first place).

So now I'm basically on my own and scrambling for a hotel room. This stinks big time

Thanks for the Welcome! Morwen, I hope you're able to get a hotel room! As much as I'd like to, we're not staying over...who needs sleep anyways?

That stinks Danielle! I may be on my own as well - not sure if my friend can come with me - and I have to drive home the same night because of my daughter , plus the hotel rooms are a little pricey there

Aww....that sucks Danielle! I know someone else who is dealing with the same thing about finding a hotel. Sorry I can't help. If you're going to the concert alone though, you're more than welcome to hang with us

Alright, awesome! I probably won't be there until 3....probably. I'm not gonna be able to leave here until 11 am and it's a little over a 3 hour drive so as long as there's not much traffic I might be earlier but knowing how we are it will probably be later lol
