Banners, Yard Signs, or Flags? You Decide!

The only reason I dislike the yard sign is that in a lot of places it is against city ordinances to have signs in your yard. Obviously I assume people already know if they live in those cities. Otherwise it would be a fantastic idea and a great way to get the word out on the band.

Being that I live in a gated apt complex I also don't like the yard sign idea. I don't have a yard and if I put it in the little area I did have it would probably be stolen or vandalized. Since it is gated it's not like lots of people drive by.

I like the sports flag idea. Its portable and gets the name out there better. Lawn signs only hit the people in your neighborhood and the occasional driver by if you get some outside traffic. Banners would have to be inside on a car for risk of being stolen, and if on a house/apartment would have the same problem as the lawn sign. The advertising value is lost. I see the sports flags on cars here all the time. I even have a few for my team. The ones I have are easily removable so you can take them off when you need to.

I like all those ideas, but I think a flag to hang in your car would be the most effective.

Yea definitely something for my car would be preferred. Even a window cling (not like the old ones with their pictures and stuff...something with just the name, etc) or a flag would work too. I would totally rock that.

Funny to see this poll - I just sent a PM to G Spot a couple of days ago, about a way for SPWC members to be able to recognize each other, etc.

My idea:
The rubber bracelets: wide, red, with "SPWC" debossed in black ink.

I thought it'd be cool because of the fact that we'd have opportunities to 'connect' with each other at shows. PLUS: when Shim orders everyone to put their hands in the air, they'll be able to see the bracelets.

I have to agree with others that a yard sign or house banner limits your promo audience. Your car would get seen more so Im thinking something for your car would be better.

My first concern is regarding to the weather....

Yard signs, buried in snow, not very effective. But I guess you 'Mericans don't all have that problem for as many months of the year as I do.

Yard signs also seem really, really tacky to me. I would also be concerned that people wouldn't get it and worry about my dog actually being sick.. lol

I think flag for the house window would be cool. Or bumper stickers.

Flags to stick outo of the car are alright, since they're removable, and people do them around here all the time for sports, however, I'm not sure I would do it often simply because again, the weather isn't the greatest so its more seasonal.
