After the crash of my hard disk, some of my documents, fotos and music are lost. Yesterday I could restored my PC, but not my documents. I think, I need a new pc and a bigger external hard drive.

Sadly I think mine is going too. I started to back up some stuff but haven't nearly had the time to really do it.

You guys could try starting with the most important and/or irreplaceable/ hardest to replace stuff. That way you don't have to sit down and dedicate yourself to do all of it at once, but you get your essentials safe and sound in case something happens in between.
You could also email certain stuff to yourself. Emails have limited capacity in how much you can upload per email, but you can store some stuff in emails.

Yea...I pretty much store everything on an external hard drive...I've dropped my laptop before and lost EVERYTHING. It sucked.

Methinks I'm gonna do a zombie thing for Halloween on Thursday. I was originally going to be a banshee, but the makeup involved for that would be easily mistakeable for a vampire and I don't feel like spending the day correcting people.
imo, zombies are more fun than vampires. They stumble around and make scary noises and chew on people's heads, vampires are just... humans with pointy teeth. Not as fun, not as much opportunity to bother your classmates with in-character stuff.
... classmates whom I just remembered are all obsessed with The Walking Dead. I have a feeling I'm going to be asked if I watch it A LOT.
Which for the record I don't. Whatever the show is that lots of people are watching and bugging over, I'm usually not. The only things I watch are like FaceOff and cartoon reruns. I spend most of my time computer-ing or reading a book

I take issue with 50 shades because it's a twilight fanfic with the names changed. I kinda get people reading it for the dirty stuff though, because it's an erotic book. The dirty stuff is the entire plot. Game of Thrones is a fantasy series first. Though dirty still does not equal good. Something can have sexual things in it and be good, but not everything with sexual things in it is good just because it's there. Things can also be good without dirty stuff in it.

They actually arent really about the bdsm. They are about the relationship. I won't claim they are well written but they are an easy entertaining read. I read them very quickly. My husband (separated now) actually benefited from me reading them

GoT isn't as sexual in the books...but HBO makes it seem that way. The books are extremely dense and are fantasy first. I can rip through a book in a day...it takes me months to read 1 of the GoT books. The story is good, but hard for me to read.
I usually avoid stuff that's hyped up, but GoT is awesome imo, just like HP is.
