I'm thinking of trying to make my own fan music video of Connect with footage from anime/gaming conventions. My reasoning behind this is because not only does Connect just make a great song for a feel-good video, but I know for me and many other con-goers and cosplayers, conventions and cosplay are a way for people who are normally really shy normally to open up a bit and connect to other people. I've met all of my current best friends at conventions. =)

Though, I know there are a lot of issues in using copyrighted music. Should I put it in an ask to the band to get permission, or does anybody know if they are already okay with things like that? I don't want to break any rules or show any disrespect. @.@ If it's okay though I really wanna go for it!

Disney XD is airing in reruns one of my favorite shows that Disney has come out with in the last I guess 10 years, Kim Possible. so happy about that.

Also I just got some new sneakers and I wanna wear theeeeeem irk I don't wanna ruin them right away with all the snow and ice >.< Plus I'm secretly afraid that the second I step on ice with them I'll go flying and bust my face open

My mom used to demo Keurig coffee makers and we have a ton of stuff left over, including somewhere around 6 or 7 large ziploc bags full of sugar packets.
We're not going to waste sugar, so we just have a huge bowl downstairs and we're taking turns ripping the packets open and dumping the sugar in the bowl XD
Maybe 'ridiculous things that happened' should be a topic <.<

I think I may have found a new D&D group...

I'm of mixed feelings about it, however. This group is done on a different system than I was being taught on by my best friend and her hubby before I moved...and the group is a LOT different than what I'm used to. For example, the DM is far more allowing of player-characters such as "a dragon-born druid" (and yet would not allow me to roll a human/halfling hybrid?)...

I'm nervous, because the only person in the group that I'm going to know is the DM, and him I've only met 3 times, via boardgame night at another friend's house.

I'm trying to force myself to be more social which is why I accepted the invite to join the group, but I'm worried I'm going to either fail miserably, be really really bad, or be extremely annoying and they won't want me to stick around. lol.

And on that note, I'm obviously feeling really insecure lately, for some reason.

oh! And boardgame night last night was fun. It happens once every 4-8 weeks or so, a huge gettogether at my buddy Andy's house, where anywhere from 10-40 people pile into the house and play card games, board games, etc etc. Magic, Yomi, Red Dragon In, Blocksi, Firefly, Wearwolves, cards against humanity.... anything and everything you could want to play.

People bring their own games, and people wander from group to group to table to table, upstairs and down, joining games at whim and as desired.

My favourite is a game called Werewolves lol. It's fun

Anyway Enough mini-novella from me. My head hurts like a son of a rabid monkey, so I think I'm going to go curl up and try to relax.

^ I've been considering getting into tabletop gaming. The only thing that scares me off is the mass amount of rules and stats and whatnot. The second I rolled something and asked "uh... what does that mean, again?" the vets I'd be playing with would be merciless and rip my character apart XD
My older brother used to play Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! and whenever I played with him, he would have to explain all the card effects to me. I'm surprised he never took advantage of that. Then again, I never really needed it cuz I was kinda stinko at those games he would always beat me. I'm tempted to get him when we both have free time and challenge him to a game and see if I'm any better now that I know how to strategize... and that I know what the word 'negate' means

Aww - I was lucky enough to have an incredible group my very first time. They were super patient and never minded explaining things over and over again. That's kind of what I'm scared of about this group though - it's a new version (4th Edition) instead of the 3.25 I was playing... so it's almost like an entirely new game with an entirely new set of rules, on top of an entirely new group of people I've never even said hello to.

My inner hermit is currently screaming bloody-murder, but my hidden extrovert is pounding at the doors to get out and saying "COME OOOOOON DOOOOOO IIIIIITTTTTTTTT!" lol
