Check out this great interview with Brian (WSP), one of our rockin' ambassadors from Idaho!



Q: Here at the WC, you're affectionately known as 'the Walking SP Billboard'...Could you tell us the meaning behind that nickname?
A: "I have 11 hours worth of Sick Puppies tattoos, 4 in all. They've told me it's one of the highest compliments they can get and mine are some of the most impressive and memorable they've seen."

Q: What's the weirdest thing in your fridge right now?
A: "Probably chocolate flavored almond milk...don't knock it until you try it!"

Q: What's it like being an ambassador with a wife and three kids? Does your work in the WC bring your family closer together?
A: "Yes, they all love the band! I took my 15 year old to his first concert in October, and my two younger kids love to help with little projects that I work on. My wife and kids are extremely supportive!"

Q: As a kid, what was your favorite movie?
A: "I had a bad habit of watching the same things over and over again. The Dark Crystal, Goonies and Star Wars come to mind. I can also probably recite all of Bill Cosby: Himself!"

Q: You never know what'll happen at a SP concert...what's the most unique experience you've had as an ambassador at a show?
A: "Probably the massive hail storm, lightening and flash flood in Nampa, ID last year at Uproar/X-Fest. 5 minutes before SP was supposed to be on stage, they shut everything down and told everyone to run for cover. Chaos ensued as we tried to help pack up all the merch and get to safety. About 90 minutes later, the band came out to the radio tent and played a few acoustic songs for the crowd in the pouring rain, cementing their legacy in Idaho. Up until that point, everyone thought the rest of the show was cancelled.
Also, getting recognized by my tattoos at every show is pretty unique for me."

Q: Who's your man-crush?
A: "Musically- (Besides Shim and Mark obviously!) Corey Taylor
Acting- Justin Timberlake on SNL (or with Jimmy Fallon) and Nathan Fillion"

Q: If you could attend any concert with the members of Sick Puppies, which band would you like to go see?
A: "Current- Tool
Past- The Beatles"

Q: What's your current song-obsession (SP or otherwise)?
A: "Mad World cover by Sick Puppies. I've also been getting into the other bands that SP is or has been on tour with...Eyes Set To Kill, Cilver, Redlight King, etc."

Q: In one word, describe ambassadorship:
A: "TotallyWorthMeetingOthersWithTheSamePassionThatWillBecomeLikeFamily"

Q: In the zombie apocalypse, who do want on your team (sky's the limit!)?
A: "My wife and kids...I'd die to save them! I'll also take Daryl and McGuyver!"
