That feeling when you realize Friday is your last day of gym class
FOREVER
It's a weird feeling, getting to the end of senior year and realizing that you're not going back to school the following fall. For 12 years it's been a sure cycle of what I've had to do each day, and now there's... nothing.
Cuz uuuh... what happens next
*thumps laptop* argh, getting my speakers fixed is what's next. Darn things only work when they feel like it

I'm in Wichita visiting my brother and sister in law - we left northern colorado the day before a big snowstorm hit.

now that we're in wichita tonight we're supposed to get large storms, hail, and even a possible tornado...

Tornadoes terrify me. A lot.

So ever since i moved out of my parents house 8 years ago or so. They have been bugging me to take all the crap I left behind. Honestly it's only a couple boxes of old text books and old papers. They have long ago repurposed the room as a guest bedroom.

Last holiday (maybe thanksgiving) dad brought it up again. He thinks my old books from college could somehow be useful.I discovered one of the binders of what he thought were CDs was actually a few hundred pages of really bad poetry I wrote from ages 16 to 19. That book I stole back. As bad as it was, that binder thing is currently hidden under my bed. I didn't even look at it or re read any of that crap.

I think yesterday was the only time I've ever been in someone's house and sincerely wanted to leave immediately. I went in there and I thought that the house wanted to eat me. I was honestly afraid that I was going to die in there.
I felt like I spent half the day in a horror movie.
Because going from carrying heavy objects into a hoarder house to making the wrong turn down a wooded road and coming across firemen putting out a bush fire with Under a Very Black Sky playing...
That's a horror movie waiting to happen.
Maybe I was just really tired.
Or maybe I've just been playing too many point-and-click horror escape games for my own good...

welp.... we've made it to florida!

it's been a very long trip - we took off Friday morning at about 7am MST for Wichita, and arrived this afternoon around 4pm EST.

Ended up taking an extra day on the road due to an unexpected detour, haha. But it's nice to be here. Had a minor snafu with the internet (or rather lack thereof) but I managed to turn my phone into a hotspot so I'm using that for the web now.

I'm so tired, though. Ooof. It's so nice to be out of the car! And back to work tomorrow I go....! lol
